Terms
Terms that match the product boundary
The terms are being written around the clearest Xtiitch rule: the platform helps fashion businesses run work, but it does not hold funds or become the merchant of every garment.
Service boundary
Xtiitch is a fashion-business operating system: storefront, catalogue, orders, tracking, payments, subscriptions, bookings, notifications and money records. Version one is not a general marketplace, escrow service, wallet, lending product, POS, inventory system or full accounting product.
Business subscriptions
Businesses can choose available subscription packages. The Free and Standard plans are the first planned public packages; Growth is a future package and should not be sold until it is enabled in the product and billing flow.
Payments and funds
Customer payments are processed through Paystack. Xtiitch does not hold customer or business funds, does not store raw card details and does not run escrow. Platform commissions and Paystack charges are shown in pricing and payment flows before live launch.
Orders and fulfilment
Each fashion business remains responsible for its designs, prices, measurements, fulfilment, delivery, pickup, customer communication and garment quality. Xtiitch provides the software workflow and customer tracking surface.
Refunds and cancellations
Refunds, order cancellations, subscription changes and disputes follow the public payment policy. Because Xtiitch does not hold funds, provider-confirmed reversals are handled through the business payment flow and recorded by the platform.
Acceptable use
Businesses must provide real settlement and identity information, must not upload misleading or unlawful content, and must not attempt to access another business’s customers, orders, payments or store records.
Intellectual property
Each business keeps ownership of its designs, brand, images and content, and grants Xtiitch a limited licence to host and display that content only as needed to run its store. Xtiitch owns the platform software, the Xtiitch brand and the marks shown on this site.
Customer rights
When a customer orders from a business on Xtiitch, their rights in that purchase — including under Ghanaian consumer-protection and electronic-transactions law — are against that business as the merchant. Xtiitch provides the ordering, tracking and records workflow; it is not the seller of the garment.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is”, and Xtiitch is not liable for a business’s garments, pricing, fulfilment or communications, nor for a payment provider’s acts. Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Ghana.
Data protection
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy policy, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Businesses that record customer data on Xtiitch are the controllers of that data and must have a lawful basis for collecting and using it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, and continued use after that point means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, including the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772). The parties will try to resolve any dispute in good faith first; unresolved disputes are subject to the courts of Ghana.
Before launch
Policies that must be finalized
The payment policy now covers refunds, cancellations, subscription renewal, failed payments and chargebacks. Final legal review, support SLAs and business verification requirements must still be approved before the site is public.
